Appointment
At NFS we understand that taxes and financial information can be highly stressful and at times, very confusing. That is why we want you to TRUST US.
Most returning tax clients won’t need an appointment. Unless you have had a major change that affects your INCOME TAX return, you will find it most convenient and timely to drop off. We’re a friendly bunch at NFS and we love to see our clients, so we understand if you still want to make an appointment. Please be patient, as our schedule can vary greatly. If there is a question or specific issue you want to discuss in that appointment, please contact Rick or let us know when you call to schedule so that we can best meet your needs. Appointment times can vary greatly depending on the nature of the discussion.
MAJOR CHANGE: (Need appointment)
- Foreclosure
- Short sale of property
- Bankruptcy
- Separation or Divorce – first year
- Cancellation of Debt
- Sale of Stock
If you should make an appointment – there are several reasons review of your return will require an appointment. This is not necessarily reason for concern. Some of those reasons are:
- In the preparation of your return we became aware of a situation(s) that we want you to be aware of.
- Your return is of specific confidentiality and at our, or your request is only handled by the staff indicated
- Your return contains complex tax information that may present questions that are best handled by Richard Noseworthy, MBA.
- Your return could be filed in different ways that would have different results and/or implications and we wish/need to discuss the best strategy for filing your return
